Chesapeake & Ohio

C&O and CSX multi lamp signals can be connected to the Signalist SC1 as shown in the below diagrams. For former B&O CSX position light signals please refer to the B&O page and for former Seaboard System CSX searchlight signals see the Seaboard System page.

Note that the lamp order on the prototype will most likely be different to what is shown here. In the C&O signal system red on the lower head(s) is not just a placeholder, in many of the aspect displays the lower head can be dark and this has a different meaning to being red.

Note that when using the CV38=8 configuration, flashing aspects can be achieved by toggling between the solid aspect and dark. Software such as JMRI will do this automatically.

In JMRI use DCC Signal Mast Decoder for CV38=83, CV38=84 and CV38=64. For CV38=8 use Double Output or Triple Output for each head.
