Canada (CROR rules)

Canadian searchlight signals can be connected to the Signalist SC1 as in the below diagrams.

CROR triple head + single head searchlights connected to a SC1

Note that when using the CV38=8 configuration, flashing aspects can be achieved by toggling between the solid aspect and dark. Software such as JMRI will do this automatically.

In JMRI use DCC Signal Mast Decoder for CV38=65, CV38=66 and CV38=129. For CV38=8 use Double Output for each head. Visit the JMRI CROR-2008 signal system to see the available mast types.

Current signal rules and aspects can be seen on the Transport Canada website:- TC O-0-93
Signal reference chart for older rules can be found at the Signals of the US website:- CROR PDF
